70 & Sunny Coffee Co. – Pier 70 Mural
At the end of 2025, ConceptShell partnered with 70 & Sunny Coffee Co. to design and paint a custom interior mural for their newly opened café on Seattle’s Pier 70. Created to reflect the shop’s bright, welcoming energy, the mural serves as a bold focal point that greets customers.

Mural design
Inspired by a sunny Seattle waterfront morning, the mural features a retro-style sun radiating over a stylized skyline with the Space Needle, Great Wheel, and Mount Rainier. Flowing waves connect the city to the pier, leading to Sammy the Seal, the café’s mascot, enjoying a cup of coffee.
Beatles lyrics woven into the typography reinforce the shop’s feel-good vibe, resulting in a vibrant, uplifting piece that celebrates community, color, and everyday sunshine.

This behind-the-scenes video captures the process of bringing the 70 & Sunny Coffee Co. mural to life — from initial layout and color blocking to final details and lettering. The piece was designed to energize the space and create an immersive focal point inside the café.
